This film reduces friction, guarding sensitive skin against tape stripping and other sources of irritation while simultaneously improving tape, film and appliance adhesion. The soft medical wipes make it easy to apply quickly and are just as easily removed using a skin cleanser or soap and water. The barrier film can also be used to reduce skin’s exposure to body wastes and stoma fluid around drainage tubes, external catheters and surrounding ostomy sites. This alcohol-free, no-sting formula is suitable for use on both intact and damaged skin.
